Typical local anesthetic products are manufactured at a low (acidic) pH level. Due to this low pH level, the body needs to adjust before it can be properly utilized, which can extend the time to effectiveness.

When utilizing the Onpharma® Onset, we are able to buffer the local anesthetic immediately before it is ready for injection. This allows our team to apply anesthesia and get to work with little to no downtime after injection. Not only does this reduce downtime at our office, but it also speeds up treatment for our patients.

Septodont OraVerse®

OraVerse® is a revolutionary local anesthesia reversal agent that allows patients to return to normal sensation twice as fast. By utilizing this technology, patients are more quickly able to smile, speak, and drink normally after utilizing numbing agents. By reducing the duration of an anesthesia, patients will reduce self-inflicted injuries and prevent uncontrolled drooling.

Cavitron

The Cavitron is a handheld device used in periodontal deep cleaning. While scaling can be completed by hand, the Cavitron uses ultrasonic technology to remove calculus from teeth and gums quickly, gently and effectively.

Dexis CariVuTM is a new, compact, portable decay detection device that uses a patented transillumination technology. This technology uses light to produce an image like that of an x-ray, but without the x-ray exposure. CariVuTM is safe for patients of any age and can be particularly helpful for patients with small mouths or strong gag reflex.

With the CariVuTM, we can safely and effectively detect cracks and tooth decay as we view the scan on a high-definition monitor. Also, with the CariVuTM technology, we can reduce the need for X-ray exposure by roughly 50% over time.

Digital X-Rays

Our advanced digital x-rays magnify and enhance your teeth for better diagnosis and treatment. This technology allows us to take images of your teeth and display them on a computer screen quickly and easily.

We utilize hand-held digital x-ray scanners which allow for a safer and more convenient experience. These scanners utilize less radiation and have a shield to prevent x-ray scattering.

The intra-oral camera is a highly valuable resource for both diagnosis and treatment planning. Each time we use the intra-oral camera, a new disposable cover is employed.
